5 habits. 5 days. 5 weeks.
5 For Fit and the Five Pillars
5 For Fit is built on the Five Pillars of Health. Small habits, practiced often, add up to a body that feels better.
- Enjoyable Activity. Movement you look forward to is movement you keep doing. Find the kind of activity that feels good to you.
- Sleep. Rest is when your body recovers from training. Good sleep makes every other habit on this list easier.
- Hydration. Water supports your energy and recovery, and drinking enough of it is one of the simplest habits to build.
- Mindful Eating. Slowing down and paying attention to what you eat and how it makes you feel, without rules or guilt.
- Mindfulness. A few quiet moments for your mind each day. Stress shows up in your body too, so this counts.

Part of every program
You do not have to sign up for something separate to get help with food.
Nutrition support is part of every training program at Action Fitness, alongside regular fitness assessments and a balanced plan of strength, cardio and flexibility. Whether you train in a small group or one-on-one, what you eat is part of the conversation.
Body positive means progress is measured in how you feel and what you can do, not in a number on a scale.
Strong together.
Self care, together
Feeling well takes more than food and workouts, and it is easier with people around you. The community shows up for that too.
The donation-based Self Care Fair brought massage, breathwork and a registered dietitian under one roof. It is one of the ways Action Fitness Community looks after the whole person, alongside charity workouts, hikes and Saturday river walks and runs.
