If not now, when?
Body positive gym in East Sacramento Strong looks like every body.
A small strength studio on 57th Street where classes top out at six people, every move has an option that works for you, and nobody cares what you look like when you walk in.
One spot has your name on it.
Come as you are.
A gym that meets you where you are
You do not have to lose weight, get fit or look a certain way before you belong here.
The program is about body longevity: getting stronger, moving better, sleeping better and adding healthy, realistic habits to the life you already have. Progress is measured in what you can do, and it is celebrated loudly.
It looks like a small studio from 57th Street. Inside there are weights, open floor, a squat rack, Jungle Gym suspension straps, a climbing wall, a living plant wall and an outdoor turf area under the canopy.
Count them.
Six spots. One coach.
Nobody hides in the back row here. In-person classes are capped at six people, matched by fitness level and goals.
Your coach watches your form, knows about your knee, and gives you the high or low impact version of every movement. That is what small means.

This gym may look inconspicuous from the outside, but it truly has everything—weights, floor space, outdoor turf, and even a rock climbing wall! I joined the core/cardio class yesterday and it was both fun and challenging. The group energy was fantastic, and it really felt like a tight-knit community—definitely putting meaning to the name Action Fitness Community! I'd absolutely love to come back for more.
